Thames (NZ): Pollen Street central looking north & south

On the right side from Mary Street (Court's Corner), what shops can you remember? Courts Fabric, Danby's Shoe, Arbury's, Self Help, Hallensteins, A J Brokenshire and Judd's cars.

In the 1955 Street Directory the shops are from Mary Street corner coming back south to the pedestrian crossing (by the Thames Post Office): Lee Cheuk Yue (Fruiterer), Danbys, W Taffe, Bond & Bond, Arburys, Self Help Co-op, A McAllum (Jeweller), Presswood & Presswood (Optician), Hallenstein Bros, A J Brokenshire and Judds.
